"Paul picked us up from our Air B&B location in Jerusalem at 4am and drove us to the bottom of Masada. We then hiked to the summit, it was hard work but well worth it. Right from the beginning Paul gave us a running commentary of the history of Israel. It was hard going but Paul encouraged us all the way. After Paul gave us a tour of the city and it’s history we descended in the cable car to the bottom.

 

We then travelled to Ein Geri, an Oasis in the Judean Desert. Again we trekked up a track to see three lovely waterfalls and the nature it supports. We then traveled to the site of Jesus’ baptism by John.

We could have done a lot more with Paul but we were tired and he drove us home past unbelievable views of the Dead Sea and all the time giving us the history of the areas we were passing through.
